Kateri material izbrati za vaš izdelek?
Depending on the purpose for which you will use your product, we can recommend the material from which we make its container. In the following, we have listed the most common materials used in its manufacture, and in each we present their good and bad properties and for what purpose its use is recommended.
Material
ABS
It is a very nice liquid material with balanced properties (the same shrinkage in all directions), also suitable for spraying thin-walled products, provides a beautiful surface, can also be treated galvanically, and can also be fire-resistant.
Material
PP (Polypropylene)
Polypropylene is a widely used semi-crystalline plastic injection material. It offers a wide range of features and different costs. In general, polypropylene is a plastic injection material with low temperature and excellent chemical resistance. Polypropylene has the lowest density, is tough and resistant to most chemicals, retains its shape and strength even at 100 ° C, and is an increasingly widespread material due to its versatile characteristics. It is used for car parts, electrical appliances, pipes, food packaging, fixtures, medical devices …
Material
PE (Polyethylene)
Polyethylene is a widely used, low-cost thermoplastic for injection moulding. It has good self-lubricity and is easy to handle. It has good to excellent chemical resistance. It is soft, light, tough, chemically resistant, impermeable material with excellent electrical and insulating properties. It is resistant to all organic solvents, acids, alkalis, thinner… It is used for packaging, water containers, tanks.
Material
PA
Nylons are semi-crystalline injection moulded plastics with a good range of properties. They have a good cost-benefit ratio. Lower numbered nylons (6, 6-6, 4-6) absorb moisture and consequently change their properties. They consist of reinforcements, fillers and additives, which gives very different properties. They are easy to process and have good mechanical properties. Good thermal and dimensional resistance, good sliding properties, wear-resistance. It is used in furniture and building hardware, car parts, household appliances, components for machine parts.
Material
SAN
San granulate is nicely transparent and slightly tougher than PS crystal, much more resistant to chemicals. Easy processing. With the addition of ABS, it has a much improved surface – nice in terms of gloss and feel. It is mostly used in the cosmetics industry for the production of packaging and for the production of less demanding transparent parts of office equipment, as well as garden and seating furniture.
